Amongst the many problems that we will all face in a grid-down situation is that of cooking our food. Today’s food preparation methods almost all require the use of electricity. Even people who have gas stoves might find that they can’t use them in a critical situation as the gas may stop flowing. About the only people who will be able to use their stoves are those who run off of propane; as long as they have gas, they’ll be okay.
